What is the GM Vehicle Purchase Program?

When you’re part of the GM family, you always have savings to share. Families can turn any shared experience into something special. GM does the same with the GM Employee Discount, allowing employees and eligible family members to purchase or lease an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle at a special discounted price below MSRP.

Who is eligible for the GM Employee Discount?

• Are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse, domestic partner*, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step), mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
• Active GM Salaried employees only. Domestic partner must be registered through Fidelity but does not need to be enrolled in GM benefits. See your HR Professional for more information. Please allow 3-5 business days after registering Domestic Partner in Fidelity for eligible relationship to be reflected in your Family First account.

• With 5–20 years of service — are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse and dependent children. (Children must be under 21 years of age or full-time students under 25 years of age at time of purchase.)
• With 20+ years of service — are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step), mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

• With 5–20 years of service — are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse and dependent children. (Children must be under 21 years of age or full-time students under 25 years of age at time of purchase.)

• If you received the Employee Discount through your parents but no longer can, the Family Legacy Program may allow you to keep using this valuable discount.
